I said yes.

I had the best weekend ever.

It was simple and perfect.

And I said yes.

I was shocked and surprised.

I’m excited, ecstatic, and elated.

I’m also overwhelmed! There’s so many things to think about. But it’s a good overwhelming feeling.

After looking through approximately 44 wedding magazines, I realized this whole planning thing is going to be difficult. How do people do this? Suddenly, I don’t like any of the colors, or themes, or dresses, or cakes … but I love my man, and that’s what really matters. Happy Tuesday!

P.S. I will have more about my weekend later. Work is ridiculously busy, as usual.

Aw congrats!!! How exciting. If you need any advise or need to vent, just let a girl know. I got married back in September and we were engaged for almost 2 years before the big day. It was hard work and a long process, but I swear it is worth it in the end. Just don't sweat the small stuff. Its all about you and him (but mostly you;)

Congrats again!!

Hi Allison! Congratulations to you and Adam! Wedding magazines can be extremely overwhelming. I found refuge with these wedding blogs. Be warned - they're addicting! Happy wedding planning! Can't wait to hear the story!

OH MY GOODNESS CONGRATS GIRLIE!!! I am so so so so so so excited for you!! I will never forget how I ran out to buy every wedding magazine I could find and then... sat with them all in front of me... wanting to puke. Unless you are one of those girls whose planned their weddings since they were a little girl, just enjoy being engaged right now =0)

Get yourself a notebook ... and then paste pictures from magazines that you like or write ideas down you may have. I had one of these notebooks - an inspiration journal - and it was the BEST idea I ever had. Do it =0)

CONGRATS!
