Turnitin. Weird.

I got an e-mail this afternoon from Turnitin.com thanking me, Allison Walker, for the submission of my poem titled "I am."

I did not write this poem.

In fact, I don't write poems at all.

At least not since college.

The e-mail included the full text of the poem.

I am
I am a bubbly girl who cares about her friends

I wonder what it would be like to have a twin

I hear the voice of the rolling thunder

I see the world as it flashes before me

I want to be rich and successful one day

I am a bubbly girl who cares about her friends

I pretend there aren't any judgmental people

I feel the weight of the world's pain

I touch the wind as it whispers by

I worry about what people say when they talk about me

I cry for all those who have never felt love

I am a bubbly girl who cares about her friends

I understand I will make mistakes in life

I say you just have to learn from those mistakes

I dream about being the person everyone looks up to

I try to help people with their problems

I hope to bring joy to those who are down

I am a bubbly girl who cares about her friends

While many of these things are true...it's not really my writing style. ☺

Does this mean someone is pretending to be me?
