Mexican night.

I have so much to blog about, but I decided to take a break today to fully enjoy our last day.

This morning, we tried to start off our day with breakfast at Pure, which is the restaurant for the preferred club guests. But after standing and waiting about 7 minutes for a table and then sitting down for 10 minutes with still no service, we decided to head to the buffet for breakfast. And I was still able to get eggs benedict. ☺

My favorite A's main course: chicken mole.
We heart mariachi.
My main course: beef and chicken fajitas.

The boy had a tequila shot with his coffee.
He's excited about it.
Delicious tortilla soup. Almost as good as the
asparagus soup.
I will do a full recap of our day's events tomorrow night when I get home, but I had to quickly write about our wonderful evening at Mortero. Joha and Jorge made it so much fun. We were sang to by a mariachi band. We had delicious appetizers from the "buffet" section before we ordered. I had the BEST tortilla soup, and we had some wonderful Mexican coffee after our meal.

It was the most fun we've had at a restaurant our whole trip.

Today was probably our best day. There was wonderful service by the pool. We watched the games. The waves were perfect for boogie boards. They passed around delicious fruit at the pool. It was a great ending to our trip. Well, a girl did yell at me for moving her stuff (she used a much more graphic word) by the pool. The thing is, I didn't realize the orange towels owned by the resort were hers. Oh well. Some people are just cranky. And the funny thing is, she left about an hour later. And I just moved two seats down from her. I didn't see what the big deal was. No one was there. And there were no personal belongings. I think she wanted to fight, but I said no. ☺

Delicious coffee. I'm not sure what's in it. But
isn't that the best kind?
I didn't actually drink it. Thanks, Joha!
But he did! Thanks, Joha!
He also drank this. Now he's taking a "nap" before we head
back out. :)
I have lots more to recap, so I will be posting a lot in the next few days.

The mariachi band sang "bonita" to us. I titled the song.
Now, we're off to enjoy the fire show! Well, we will if it stops raining, which I think it will.

P.S. I promise I will post about Xplor tomorrow. It was so. much. fun.
