Weigh in and Weekend

Biggest Loser
First things first—I’m sure you’re curious about Friday’s weigh in. Well, I lost 2.5 lbs last week. That brings my total to 9.5 lbs. I’m tied for fourth place. However, I did not do so hot yesterday. Basically, everything I ate was unhealthy. I plan to do much better this week, and I have a pretty intense workout schedule planned. I want first place this week! However, I would have to lose about 5 lbs., which is probably not going to happen. I will do my best!

Oaklawn
Friday night, we got to spend time with my grandparents, who live on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs. I love catching up with them. I even got a copy of a branch of my family tree that shows how I’m related to one of my Junior League friends. I can’t wait to show her! It was also great for my grandparents to meet my friends Sarah and Brandon, who were traveling with us.

Saturday, we spent all day at the race track. I’m proud to say I got up and ran a couple of miles before we headed out there. After the races, we had a loud dinner at a quaint Italian restaurant within walking distance. Hey, that’s what happens when you have a group of eight and six of them are boys. Dinner involved a bottle of “Cheap White Wine” and “Cheap Red Wine.” I wouldn’t recommend either. After dinner, we took a taxi over to Smyly’s, a local crabshack/bar in Hot Springs.
Sunday, we met up with my grandparents at Cracker Barrel for a good Southern lunch. I slept for the majority of the ride home. After grocery shopping, Thai food and a little TV watching, I called it a night.
