We arrived a little after lunch Wednesday, and it was nonstop until Sunday night. And there were no problems with our flights or luggage. That in itself equals a successful trip. The drive up to Lake Tahoe was amazing. Something about snow-covered mountains overlooking a natural lake can take your breath away. 
I'm not much of a gambler, but it was fun to play with Adam. Even though I'm pretty sure no one won, we all had fun. We had a delicious Thanksgiving meal at our hotel overlooking the lake. Well, we couldn't see the lake because it was dark, but it was there. Adam had the best orange pumpkin cheesecake. I'm pretty sure I ate most of it.
We skied one day, even though when we went to get lift tickets there was a sign that said "No beginner trails available." I definitely fit into the beginner category. We still had fun, and Adam was really good for someone who hasn't skied since he was 8! Adam and I ventured out for a drive on Saturday, and we found a great park at the lake's shore and some great views overlooking the lake. We went to a comedy show Friday night featuring Rocky LaPorte, and he was pretty funny.
All in all, it was a fun trip. But it's always nice to come home. I'll make another post with more photos tomorrow!
