A packed weekend.

I had a great weekend. I ended up staying in Fayetteville Friday night to go to dinner for the boy’s sister’s birthday. Did you get that?

She’s getting married in May, and I had to miss her shower Saturday to go to my friend’s. So, I wanted to spend some time with them since they live in Texas.

I drove to central Arkansas Saturday morning, did a little shopping with the parents, got a pedicure with Mom (thanks Mom!), and then I went to the shower. I got to see several friends from college who I hadn’t seen in FOREVER. It was so good to see them, and I was reminded how much I miss them!

Katie’s shower was fabulous. (You can read about her engagement here). I had the best pomegranate champagne I’ve ever had. Well, it’s the only I’ve ever had, but I can’t imagine anything better. Unfortunately, as I went to take pictures, my camera was dead. I couldn’t believe it. I took too many pictures Friday night. I will have those tomorrow. I did take a few photos with my phone.

Katie got some wonderful gifts. My personal favorite was the monogrammed robe. And I love her pots and pans. They’re from Williams Sonoma and they’re green! So cute.

My mom and I went to go see The Last Song Saturday night. I loved it. We both cried. Miley did a fantastic job, and I will definitely see the movie again. I would be lying if I said I didn’t download her song from the movie yesterday. Because I did. I never claimed to have the best classiest taste in music. I think my friends would agree. I had a Britney Spears scrapbook in high school. Seriously.

And this week I’m doing something crazy. Probably stupid. But I’m doing it anyways. For 10 days. And I will let you know about it later.
