Wonderful Weekend

Saturday is my favorite day of the week, and this Saturday was no different. Actually, Friday night was pretty great too because we did nothing. If you know me, you know I'm not one to ever really do nothing. I got made Adam go to the mall with me to find a cardigan (no luck), we went to dinner, to Target and then we rented a movie. When we parked at Target, Adam said, "So this is what some people do on Friday night..." It was funny. So when I said I did nothing, I didn't really mean do nothing...I meant I did what a sick person should do, which is stay in on a Friday night and watch a movie. We watched Taken with Liam Neeson. It was good (i.e. I stayed awake for the WHOLE movie!).

Saturday morning we got up bright and early and had breakfast at the country club. We then headed to the game because it started at 11 a.m.! That's early for some football.  But that doesn't matter because we won! Actually, we beat Auburn badly. Of course, everyone on ESPN will continue to say that it's only because Auburn played terrible. I disagree. Saturday night...well let's just say I will make a special post about something we witnessed Saturday. It was a once in a lifetime..."experience." And it was possibly the funniest (that's mean, but true) thing I've seen in a long time.

Sunday was also a great day. I didn't do much in the morning, but Sunday afternoon we had to go to the lake to get the boat ready for the winter. We got all the tubes and life jackets off the boat. Summer is definitely over. We went for a short boat ride, and it was a bit chilly. But it was nice to see the lake so quiet, and some of the leaves are already changing. NWA is so beautiful in the fall.

I'm going out of town for work tonight and won't be able to post tomorrow, so I'm going to post about my super funny Saturday night encounter later tonight. Stay tuned!

P.S. I have no idea why Liz and I decided to take photos of ourselves holding our driver's license.

I love all your photo documenting. I've become lazy with taking pictures. Glad you had a great weekend!
