I like the idea of sacrifice and how this sacrifice simultaneously improves your life/body/mind/etc. in some way.<br /><br />I'm giving up sweet tea for Lent this year. Usually I give this up (along with sodas) every year. I don't drink so many sodas now, and I had actually stopped drinking sweet tea (except when I was out and happened to order a glass). I think I was able to stop drinking it because I stopped making it at home, so...I have to stop making it again. I finished the last pitcher last night. :)<br /><br />Unfortunately I usually don't stay good for all of Lent, not because of my willpower, but rather because I will forget when I'm out and order one without thinking.
